Top of the vibrational scale
Living with passion, excitement and joy!
Did you know you were transmitting vibrations into the world? Everything in life emits a frequency and that frequency creates vibrations that transmit throughout the world like radio waves. Our emotions have vibrations too, and these emotional states can be mapped onto a vibrational scale, ranging from low to high. Remember the last time you felt excited, passionate, and engaged? When you experienced those wonderful feelings you were at the higher end of the vibrational scale. How about when you felt disempowered and angry? At that point you were at the lower end of the vibrational scale. What if your awareness of the vibrational scale could shift you into a higher state of well-being?
Do you often feel stuck in the same emotional patterns? Because we are creatures of habit we often vibrate at a certain point on the scale most of the time, making it very difficult to escape our emotional states. See if you recognize yourself living in a certain range on this scale.
Imagine the bottom of the scale to be a deep pit. In this state we tend to feel powerless or disempowered, despairing, lonely, insecure, hopeless, and trapped. It is a very dark and cold place. These emotions are on the low end of the vibrational scale. This coldness and darkness makes you desire a little fire, which is actually the next level on the scale.
Inflamed and fiery is the next level of the vibrational scale. In this state we tend to feel anger, rage, jealousy, hate, and fearfulness. There is a little more energy in this state compared to the last one. If you find that you are angry all the time, ask yourself, “What am I feeling disempowered about?” Empowerment is often about looking at your life with more options than you have yet considered. The fewer options you feel you have, the less empowered you become. Sometimes shifting your belief about what options you have may help you break through this state of anger. For example, if someone has treated you poorly you may in turn feel poorly. This can be very disempowering. However, it is also a choice you make. Instead of allowing another’s behaviour determine your inner state, you can choose to let it go and forgive.
The next level up the scale is stressed. This is often the set point of people with chronic disease, such as chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. It is a state of survival mode, where you are often stuck in fight or flight. You are releasing stress hormones that lead to a breakdown of your body. In this state one is always overwhelmed, worried, doubtful, frustrated, discouraged, disappointed, and impatient. If this state sounds familiar, you may be surprised to find there is another higher, more harmonious state that is open to you and within your grasp.
This next level is where emotional freedom begins. It is a state where one feels connected. Connected is a conscious state of feeling balanced, stable, accepted, safe, present, mindful, observant of the inner more than the outer, as well as feeling a sense of certainty, confidence and trust that you can get back to balance even when you are thrown off by negative events.
Once you are comfortable and safe and connected, you can start creating habits that put you into the state of thriving. Thriving is an energized, hopeful, optimistic, expectant, curious, open state. It is a state of believing, trusting, feeling life expanding, and engaging in the world.
The highest level is peak. In peak state we experience bliss, ecstasy, passion, joy, jubilance, intimacy, fulfillment, and connection with everything.
Where on the scale do you live? What is your set point? What state comes most easily for you? When we are vibrating at a certain place on the scale we tend to be more aware of other things that vibrate at this level too. What are the beliefs about yourself that keep you in a certain level?
Also, please be mindful of the journey up the scale. It is not about being blissful immediately but rather aware of the gradual road you travel to get to your peak state. If you would like some professional help in learning more about moving up the scale, please contact us to learn more.
